Mastana, the flagship event of the Cambridge University Hindu Cultural Society, is Cambridge's largest annual Asian cultural arts show. It is an exposition of world music, a melting-pot of traditional Asian dances and vibrant urban beats, and a stage for colourful comedy. All proceeds from the show go to charity
Last year's event raised over £3,500 for Age Concern and Amar Jyoti, while Mastana 2008 attracted an audience of over 700, showcasing acts ranging
from breakdance to bharatanatyam.
Mastana 2010 is happening on the 6th of March 2010! It will be an unmissable event and the tickets are selling our FAST!
Mastana relies on hard-work to make the show a success and a vital part of that success is the role our sponsors play in helping us raise such a huge amount of money for charity. Last year we raised £3500 for charity, this year we are aiming even higher! For any organisation or individual interested, there are many sponsorship opportunities including the programme, posters, flyers, tickets, the website and emails sent to society mailing lists. We're not just interested in money - we're looking for prizes for the raffle and we are also looking for sponsorship for food, clothing and anything else. Email mastana@cuhcs.org.uk for more information.
Mastana is proud to present this year's sponsor "THE JEWELLERY CHANNEL".
