Mastana 2006 Cambridge Univerity Hindu Cultural Society

WELCOME to the world of Mastana - a celebration of the rich cultural heritage of the Indian subcontinent. It showcases the immense talent of the students and residents of Cambridge. A unique variety show attempting to fuse ancient Indian traditional art forms with the present day popular forms of entertainment, Mastana crosses all borders and brings a message of peace to everyone with all proceedings from the show being given to charity. It is a unique show in many respects indeed.

Mastana moved last year to the Cambridge Arts Theatre. The show enthralled its audience of over 700 hundred people with its fusion of traditional and contemporary acts, representing the creativity of British Asian youth. On Sunday 12th March 2006, Mastana hopes to stun Cambridge once again with a magnificent display of colour and talent. Hosted again in the Cambridge Arts Theatre, following the success of previous shows, Mastana promises to be bigger and better than ever.
