Mastana

Mastana, the flagship event of CUHCS, is the largest annual cultural arts show in East Anglia. It is an exposition of world music, a melting-pot of traditional Asian dances and vibrant urban beats, and a stage for colourful comedy. All proceeds from the show go to charity.

Last year's event attracted an audience of over 900 and showcased acts ranging from breakdance to bharatanatyam, with over £8000 being raised for Diabetes UK and the Hope Foundation. Check out last year's website - Mastana 2007, and photos from the show.

On Sunday 2nd March 2008, Mastana is set to stun Cambridge once again with a magnificent display of colour and talent. Hosted at The Corn Exchange, we expect audiences of over 1000 and a show like never before!

Performers

It is the extraordinary talent of our performers which make Mastana the biggest cultural arts show in East Anglia. You will be entertaining an audience of 1000 as well as raising huge sums of money for charity. This really is a unique and rewarding experience through which you will meet people from such a wide variety of backgrounds.

We welcome acts from all corners of the world; Mastana truly is a multi-cultural show. We are looking for Dancers, Actors, Compères, Script writers, Choreographers, Directors, and any other performing talent.

If you are interested or have any questions at all please email mastana-acts@cuhcs.org.uk.
